Harry Potter Christmas Quilt
I have made Harry Potter quilts in the past, but this is a Harry Potter Christmas quilt for a teenage girl. Her mom surprised her with it for Christmas after asking me to make it this summer. I used the pattern from here, and it was pretty simple! I followed the instructions mostly, except I didn't applique the center, I used an out of print fabric panel that I bought on ebay or etsy.
As many of you know, at my house we have a Harry Potter addiction, and I have many Hogwarts shirts and lots of house or quidditch socks. I listen to the audiobooks ALL.THE.TIME. Jim Dale is such an awesome narrator. I even have a wand TV remote... It isn't programmed yet, but still!
I wish that I was not such a Muggle, or as the new "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" has lowered me even further to an American "No-Maj." And other Potter fans feelin' me here?!
My allover star quilting shows up really well on the backing, thanks again, Tricia! I chose striped binding just because I love it and think it's something that matching nearly everything! Hope you all enjoy!
Now, off to sew some more. Hope you all have enjoyed!
